promoting digital badges

Filigree is working with Cambridge City Council and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority on an innovative project to promote digital badges to businesses, schools, colleges and training providers across the region.

a new way to show your skills

Region of Learning is a mission to connect local businesses with local people looking to boost their skills. Digital badges are rapidly becoming an attractive alternative to showcase skills and achievements, beyond formal education.

A straightforward narrative

Digital badges are a great opportunity for many people but the concept and process to create and earn badges can seem complicated. We worked closely with the council to simplify the messaging to help the team effectively introduce digital badges to local businesses and learning providers.

Digital badges

campaigns to raise awareness

We’ve created a new website, social media approach, email news and other digital assets to support promotion among businesses and learning providers.

To support events, workshops, and interactions with employers, we developed a variety of materials, including flyers, toolkits, and other resources, ensuring both attendees and employers had the information they needed. The flyers were designed to grab attention while clearly communicating key details about digital badges in an engaging way. Additionally, we created comprehensive toolkits that offered practical guidance on how organisations can implement digital badges and how learning providers can educate students on earning them. These materials were thoughtfully tailored to meet the specific needs of our audience, providing valuable insights and user-friendly tools to deepen understanding and drive greater adoption of digital badges.

We are continuing to manage a series of campaigns to increase awareness among key sectors such as digital, technology and health and compile a suite of case studies, success stories and vocal champions.
